This
chess board is made of Montgoy
Palisander and Maple (Palisander
is another name for Rosewood).
The grain is a rich dark brown with
even darker striations throughout.
It contrasts nicely with the amber
hue of the maple squares. The
playing surface is divided from
the border by a thin ebony inlay.
It is finished with a polyurethane
matte finish. It is a beautiful
board at an affordable price. We
have this chess board in two sizes.
